WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATION - Girl's Dept

The World Book Day was celebrated well beforehand by a series of activities organized by our two assiduous librarians and their dedicated team. These activities included Film Shows, Reading Aloud competitions, Puzzle competition, Drawing and Painting Competition and Animated Story Telling.

Prizes were also awarded to the winners of these competitions on Friday 3rd May 2013, when the ceremony was concluded with yet more and interesting activities. English and French educators, along with students of Lower 6 and Upper 6 had organized 4 dramas to illustrate the importance of reading. These dramas were adapted versions of Little Red Riding Hood, the fable ‘Le Corbeau et le Renard’, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Hansel and Gretel.

The Students delighted the audience present on that day, with their performance. Through this activity we were able to appreciate the hidden talents of Keats girls. Besides, the effort put in by the Art department was reflected in the delightful costumes of the students and deco of the gymnasium stage. Hence, we had the opportunity to feast our eyes and ears on a beautiful concluding programme for the event of the World Book Day.
