‘La fete du Pain’ - Girls Department

‘La fete du pain’ was celebrated at Keats College Girls’ Department on Wednesday 22nd May organized by the Department of Food and Nutrition. The majority of teachers and students had the opportunity of visiting the kitchen on that day to taste some of the cakes prepared by Mrs Hurry and other teachers of that particular department. On that occasion a number of cakes have been baked namely, chocolate cake, soft rolls, Victoria sandwich, swiss rolls, ‘nankatai’, ‘Pains aux fruits secs’, ‘Pain aux raisins’ amongst others. It is worth highlighting that Le Moulin de la Concorde has contributed to a large extent by providing our school with flour. This was indeed very helpful and made the celebration a success whilst both teachers and students were able to spend some more time together in a cheerful atmosphere along with the wonderful aroma of mouth-watering delicacies.
