This annual forum debate was divided into two segments. Mr. R. Nemchand started the first one by a welcome speech, followed by speeches delivered by the Manager of Keats College, Mr Clement Wong Ah Sui and the Rector, Mr Tony Wong Ah Sui respectively.
It has become customary that each year this department pays tribute to a particular person and this year they’ve paid tribute to Mr Raffick Chatharoo. The latter had the opportunity to say a few words to both students and distinguished guests.
The second segment of this forum was carried on by the Head of Economics Department & Commercial Studies, Mr. J.Koomar This year Keats College had the immense pleasure of welcoming an eminent person, Honourable Kee Chong Li Kwong Wing as our Chief Guest. It is to be noted that Mr. Li Kwong Wing is presently serving as Member of the National Assembly..He has been able to deliver an expose on the following theme “Economic Growth Strategy for Mauritius” to broaden the knowledge of students as a whole.
Interestingly, question time was very interactive. Many questions have been asked from the audience and answered as well. The event came to an end with votes of thanks.
