The 12th March is the
most important day in the history of Mauritius. On this fortunate day our
country became free after many centuries: "Nu pays, Nu paradis".
In
school we celebrate the Independence day with great zeal every year on the 11th March. Preparations
were made to make this event a success. Our guest of honour, Mr.Thomas, an
ex-Keats students is now an assistant supervisor in logistic and distributions at Harel Mallac Group of Companies.
We had
the pleasure to assist our multi-talented students in presenting their show. The Master of ceremony was a student, Mr.Pentiah and our headboy, Leon David accompanied by his musical troop presented his own interpretation of a sega named:"Nu ti zile". Refreshment was provided at the end and the Keats Staff was all invited for a
tea party in order to celebrate.
We also
had the surprise to participate in another double celebration: the 60th
birthday of our Maths Colleague, Mr.Deerpalsing
and the retirement of our Economics Colleague, Mr.Koomar.
